Jovid Ikromi

Jovid Ikromi is Chief of Advocacy and Policy at UNICEF Tajikistan. He has over 10 years of experience in economic analysis, governance, and academia and previously served at the Parliament of Tajikistan, initially as the head of the economics department and later as head of the inter-parliamentary department. In these roles, he led and participated in trade negotiations, organised official visits, and engaged in speechwriting and diplomacy.

Jovid is also an associate professor at the Technological University of Tajikistan. He holds a PhD in International Economics and has published more than 30 research papers, including 4 books. His research interests include international economics, trade, and climate change.
