Liliana Gutan

Liliana Gutan is a Moldovan diplomat and policy practitioner. Her career – spanning over two decades in international affairs and democratic governance, and culminating in her role as Ambassador to Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland – has been built on a conviction that geopolitical disruption is not only a moment of risk, but a moment of renewal. 

As ambassador, she put that conviction into practice. Her FromAid2Trade strategy attracted €213 million in support for Moldova and helped shift international partnerships from multiple crisis responses to long-term investment in societal resilience.
