Uluk Kydyrbaev

Uluk Kydyrbaev is the Enabling Environment Partnerships Lead at the USAID Kyrgyz Republic Agro Trade Activity (ATA) Project. He has experience in managing initiatives to raise awareness among the business community and civil society about the green economy and its principles. He has run information campaigns and training on green technology for small and medium enterprises. Uluk also helped set up the annual National Green Economy forums which aim to support the transition of the Kyrgyz Republic to a green economy.

Uluk has extensive experience in developing new economic policies and has served as a private sector liaison on the following national and inter-regional public-private dialogue platforms:

  • National Sustainable Development Council of the Kyrgyz Republic (Chaired by the President).
  • Council for Business and Entrepreneurship Development under the Speaker of the Kyrgyz Parliament (Chaired by the Speaker).
  • Council of Business Development and Investment under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic (Chaired by the Prime minister).
  • Expert Council under the coordination meeting of law enforcement, fiscal and other state bodies, local self-government bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic on anti-corruption issues (Chaired by the General Prosecutor).
