Ukrainian Women’s Leadership programme to support Ukraine’s recovery
The John Smith Trust is partnering with The University of Edinburgh Business School to develop a leadership programme for Ukrainian women currently living in the UK.
As Ukrainians fight to liberate their country, they are also looking ahead to reconstruction and making steps towards recovery. Women must play a central role in this transformative recovery process.
The John Smith Trust is developing a tailor-made programme with academics at The University of Edinburgh Business School and John Smith Trust to support a resilient and sustainable recovery.
The John Smith Trust Ukrainian Women’s Leadership programme will help equip participants with the skills, insights, and networks to navigate Ukraine to a brighter future.
The programme is for Ukrainian women living in the UK, displaced by the war, who aim to return to their local hromady (communities) and help rebuild their country.
As we develop the programme and investigate the level of interest, we’re looking at possible thematic areas. These could include, for example, education and mental health, sustainable development and conflict resolution.
To find out more and to register your interest, please contact The University of Edinburgh Business School. The dates for the programme will be announced separately.
