Dr. Ketevan Khutsishvili

Prof. Dr. Ketevan Khutsishvili holds degrees from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), University of London and Tbilisi State University.  She has been leading the courses of International Criminal Law and a variety of International Law directions since 2003 in the Tbilisi State University where she holds Professorship, as well as the Caucasus University, Georgian Institute of Public Affairs and Georgian-American University. She also lectures as an invited Professor internationally, in countries including Germany, Portugal, Spain and Belgium.

She has participated in the work of the Preparatory Commission for the International Criminal Court (ICC) and has been repeatedly invited to The Hague to judge at the international rounds of the ICC Moot Court Competition, as well as Leiden University International Public Law Moot Court Competition and Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition in Washington.

Since 2009 Ketevan has been appointed by the Government of Georgia to liaise with the Council of Europe’s Group of Experts on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings (GRETA). Since 2010 she has been a Georgia’s deputy member in the Council of Europe’s European Commission against Racism and Intolerance.
