Amy Melson

Programme Manager

As the John Smith Trust’s Programme Manager (currently on maternity leave), Amy is responsible for the delivery of the organisation’s Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia fellowship programmes. Amy joined the Trust in 2017 and worked as Action Plan Meeting Programme Coordinator, Events Manager and Programme Manager for the Central Asia Programme.

Previously Amy has worked in press and events teams delivering impactful publicity campaigns and programmes of events in politics and entertainment. Amy has a degree in Latin American Studies from the University of Liverpool where she wrote her dissertation on Body Image in Argentina.
