Artem Shaipov

Artem Shaipov is an international development professional with more than 15 years of experience in leading change in government, academia, and civil society. Artem now serves as a legal advisor and team lead on legal education reform for the USAID Justice for All Program, where he manages a portfolio of projects aimed at strengthening the rule of law in Ukraine.
He has extensive leadership experience. He co-founded the Cambridge Society of Ukraine, the Professional Government Association of Ukraine, and revamped the Ukrainian Network of John Smith Trust Alumni. In response to Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, he co-founded the Ukrainian Global University, contributing to dozens of international partnerships and generating numerous education and research opportunities for displaced Ukrainians.
Artem holds a master’s degree in law from Cambridge University and is doing an MBA at IE Business School. He also completed the Implementing Public Policy Program at Harvard Kennedy School and obtained a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute. He is also an active member of global networks of leaders affiliated with the Aspen Institute and the German Marshall Fund of the United States.
