Ilie Chirtoaca

Ilie Chirtoacă (John Smith Fellow 2023) is the executive director of the think tank Legal Resources Centre in Moldova, where he leads the organisation’s efforts to combat corruption and enhance public sector integrity in the country. Ilie’s expertise spans judicial reform, digital rights, and non-profit law. He holds law degrees from the State University of Moldova and the University of Essex, UK.  Ilie is fluent in Romanian, English, and Russian.
