Irakli Kotetishvili

Irakli Kotetishvili is a lawyer and senior governance expert with extensive experience in anti-corruption, rule of law, and public sector reform across Europe, Central Asia, and Africa. He has served as an anti-corruption and good governance specialist for the United Nations Development Programme, the World Bank, OSCE, and other international development organisations, designing and leading high-impact initiatives in complex and post-conflict environments. Previously, he held senior leadership roles in the government of Georgia, including as Director of the Civil Service Commission and Chief of Staff at the Ministry of Justice, where he led civil service modernisation and justice sector reforms to improve transparency and institutional performance.

Irakli was recently elected as a Chairperson of the U.S. Government Exchange Program Alumni Association of Georgia. Since 2026, Irakli has been serving as a member of Transparency International’s International Council for a five-year term.
