Komron is a development finance practitioner from Tajikistan currently working at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in Beijing, China. He leads impactful investments into transformational development projects in Central Asia, the Caucasus, Turkey, and the Middle East.

Prior to AIIB, Komron assisted Central Asian governments in the process of economic liberalisation and enabling the investment environment with the US Agency for International Development (USAID). He is recognised as a Global Young Professional by the World Trade Organisation and received a prestigious scholarship from the European Union for Central Asian Future Leaders.

Komron holds a master’s degree in International Development from Wageningen University and a bachelor’s degree from Kazakh National University.
