Nazik Avlyakulova

Nazik is an experienced communication professional with a history of working in international organisations and on diplomatic missions. She currently works as strategic content coordination specialist at the US Embassy in Turkmenistan. Prior to this she worked as press and information officer at the EU Delegation to Turkmenistan and communications officer at UNDP. Nazik was a Research Fellow in the Elliot School of International Affairs at George Washington University. 

Nazik has a bachelor’s degree in international and comparative politics from the American University of Central Asia and a master’s degree in Middle East, Caucasus and Central Asian security studies from the University of St Andrews.
